The ELIXIR Toolkit Theme is a Jekyll theme designed to support easy deployment of documentation websites, as well as more complex sites requiring a central tool table and linking towards ELIXIR resources. It is intended to provide a modern, lightweight, and flexible theme, with a sidebar to handle sizable amounts of content and a robust search function. This theme was initially set-up for RDMkit and RDM Guide and has already been adopted by  WorkflowHub, the Infectious Diseases Toolkit, FAIRDOM, and the Australian BioCommons How-to-Guides. 

The quickest way to use the theme is as a remote theme in GitHub pages as shown in our example. Visit the GitHub documentation to find out more about how to set up GitHub pages. Alternatively, you can install and deploy it yourself using Ruby and Jekyll.
