ORCAE is a wiki style genome annotation and curation portal for eukaryotic species which offers the community the opportunity and means to improve genome annotations and to keep gene annotations up-to-date. The portal currently hosts several genome projects from around the world and a dedicated branch of ORCAE serves as the central data repository for the African Orphan Crops Consortium (ORCAE-AOCC).
